Ok Guys,

I decide what is and isnt of interest and I set the status of any message that I feel warrants same.

If threads become too heated - I'll deal with them as the need arises.

I don't see this thread as coming near that stage, so I'll probably drop the status in a week or so.

Hope this answers all levels of curiousity,

Regards

Sam. Wink

Hi Sam

It explains everything, as I though I had done something wrong.

If nothing else, it has stimulated some discussion on where 60% of our clubs subs go.

Perhaps others have views on it as well

I dont think you are alone, I did not realise that it was 'Global' what is the difference? I like you see an unread and have a look doesnt everyone?

As for the Mag I like the hard copy, I dont mind paying either as it can be awkward to read a computer whilst sat in a van having a break, also it would not be as good when showing it to prospective members, but I d think that adding an 'E-Mag' for the world to see would be a good idea, perhaps running an internet version along with the hard copy to see how it is accepted could allow us to see what it will be like?

Just my personal opinion you understand, I am one of the sheep and will follow what is deemed to be best for the club.

Just remember that there has to be a sheep to be followed, so look behind you!!

A few thoughts to ponder.

1. Only people with internet access and an interest in such things are active in this forum. This leads to the obvious statement that you are not getting any views from members who ONLY get the magazine.

2. This is a public forum, so not everyone who contributes to, or even just reads, this forum is or was a member of the Pan-Clan. So it's possible you'll get views from people who have not paid a membership fee. On the other hand, support people get from here often leads them to (re-)join.

3. If you want something raised at this year's AGM (10th November, The Chase Hotel, Nuneaton - see page 40 of the September PANtasia), you must get these in writing to the club secretary before 13th October.
