These questions always arise when someone post a pic...

Gary, what are the switch pods on the hydraulic cylinders?

Various lighting and radio communications equipment.

Bike to Bike PMR, Front and rear fogs. That sort of thing. you'll also see an MP3 player

I have just purchased the Scout GPS on my Galaxy  S5 Neo.

Question:

1: Have any of you succesfully used your smart phone as a GPS device for long distance tours with much success.

2: Have any of you used the Scout GPS app?

3: What is the best setup for charging a android on a Pan European 1999 ST 1100

4: I'm also looking to purchase a new phone holder that sticks to the inside of the screen, not necessarily adhesive if the, "sucker type".  works well, too. Who supplies the best option?

1: No, have dedicated GPS units

2: No

3: I'm sure if you hunt the web you'll find something similar to a car charger

4: Not sure a sucker type mount will work to well on the screen but you can get RAM mounts that work in different ways for motorcycles, have one fitted on the clutch handle bar mount that has not been any issue
RAM mounts here - http://www.ram-mount.co.uk/
Looks like may be handy for phone mounts - http://activeandconnected.co.uk/c...?gclid=CJKZz5-xj84CFQQz0wodIAgBMg but you may notice most appear to be RAM mounts behind, you may get them cheaper direct Wink
